Different types of obesity
The classification of types of obesity are made according to the amount of fatty tissue in relation to total body mass, to how it is distributed in the body fat and that according to the size or number of adipocytes this is the name given to the cells that form the adipose tissue.
Gynoid Obesity is one in which fat is not uniformly distributed in the body but accumulates predominantly in the call femoroglutea area from the waist down.
Adipose tissue in case of obesity gynoid deposits in hips, buttocks and upper legs, this type of obesity is more common in women.
Android Obesity is characterized by the accumulation of fat is in the upper trunk, abdomen, waist, back, chest, arms, neck and face. (more…)
